I've made a big step towards launching my dream. I've rotavated my first new bed, ready for the polytunnel.
Over the last 12 months I've been trying out variety's of vegetables and flowers, taking cuttings from fruit bushes and plants.
I am growing tasty vegetables in whatever shape they come along with flowers for cutting. I have a few old variety apple trees, as well as pears trees and greengages. Gooseberries, raspberries,strawberries and various currents form the basis for the soft fruit. I will be growing some heritage varieties along with more unusual vegetables.
I have approx 2 acres of paddock, which is rich in flora and fauna. I will leave areas natural so that they can continue to thrive.
