Planted some roses and perennial herbs at last week end. and transplanted some dogwood. I've marked out the next set of bed ready for transplanting the fruit bushes. Hoping for a few dryer days
The rabbits and slugs are enjoying the herbs, though they don't like the soapwort. I'm hoping my girls and boys will eat some of the slugs
Lovely sunny day today so I've been working hard today rotovating some more beds for the fruit, the rotorvator was finding it hard going and so was I, even so it's easier than digging. I've got 5 beds ready for planting raspberries, gooseberries, blackcurrants, strawberries.
I've propagated approx 30 of each, hopefully they will establish well over winter, ready for some yummy fruit in the summer. The wheel barrow is full of gooseberry and blackcurrant plants.
My other nursery patch is still looking good, but they're mainly perennials so will dies back ab bit. Some of them will go in the cutting garden and some in the fruit patches. The rhubarb I divided look like they are ready sprout, not sure if it's to early, maybe the frost will get them!
Had a couple more positive responses to my little info stand, things are looking positive.
